How many practice questions are enough

Coverage beats volume. A bank spread evenly across the syllabus mis-trains you, because the paper is not spread evenly: EARF and EFMA carry 45 of the 80 marks between them. The useful test is not how many questions you have answered but whether you can separate two near-identical figures under a clock, which is the skill the paper actually examines.

Are free question banks accurate?

Often they are not, and a practice question built on a superseded figure teaches you the wrong number with confidence. There is one check worth applying to any CEI question set, including this one: does each answer cite the Act or the MOM page the figure came from? If it does not, you cannot verify it, and an unverifiable practice question is worse than no practice question.

What does a CEI trap question look like?

It swaps one neighbouring figure. The sample on this page offers 44 hours where the answer is 72: 44 is the normal weekly-hours figure under the Employment Act, not the monthly overtime cap. Both numbers are real and both appear in the same Act, which is what makes the wrong option look right.
