Privacy policy

Last updated: 10 July 2026

This policy explains how SHWE MATCH PTE. LTD. (“we”, “us”), operating as CEI Grill, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use ceigrill.com. We handle personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

Information we collect

  • Account details — your email address and a securely hashed password, created when you sign up.
  • Learning activity — the questions you answer, your results, and your progress, so we can run the adaptive question engine and show your history.
  • Purchase records — the fact and date of your purchase and your access period. We do not collect or store your card details; payments are handled by Stripe (see below).
  • Technical data — basic information such as your browser type and a session identifier used to keep you signed in and to enforce single-device access.
  • Pass-guarantee claims — if you claim our pass guarantee, we collect the exam-result document you submit as proof (which shows your name and result).

How we use your information

  • To provide and operate the service — accounts, the question engine, the mock exam, and your progress.
  • To process your purchase and manage your access period.
  • To secure your account, including our single-active-device sign-in protection.
  • To respond to your support requests and send essential service messages.
  • To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the platform.

Who we share it with

We use trusted third-party providers to run CEI Grill, and share only what each needs to do its job:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe collects and handles your payment information directly, under its own privacy policy.
  • Supabase — database, authentication, and storage for your account and learning data.
  • Our hosting/CDN provider — to serve the website.

Stripe and Supabase process personal data on our behalf as our data processors, under their own data-protection terms. Some providers process data outside Singapore. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps so your data receives a comparable standard of protection, consistent with the PDPA. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies — for example, to keep you signed in and to enforce single-device access. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active, and as needed to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Data breaches

We maintain reasonable measures to protect your personal data. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in significant harm to affected individuals, or that affects 500 or more individuals, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) within 3 calendar days of assessing that the breach is notifiable, and will notify affected individuals where the breach is likely to result in significant harm to them, as required under the PDPA.

Your rights under the PDPA

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our use of it. To make a request, email support@matchmaid.ai. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the service to you.

Age

CEI Grill is intended for working professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18.

Data Protection Officer

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer responsible for overseeing our compliance with the PDPA. You can reach our Data Protection Officer at support@matchmaid.ai.
